Anticipating this once-a-year event and intriguing speaker.

Next weekend is our annual members meeting! Join us for a brief meeting followed by guest speaker Michael Livingston, PhD, sharing his research on Benny Benson in a talk titled, "Benny Benson vs. the K*K: Alaska’s 7th Grade Super Hero."
Following the presentation, there will be a reception in the SJM lobby where Benny Benson Ice Cream will be served. This program is free and open to the public.

One of our favorite Grinds of the year! 🎶🎨💜

🎶 The Original Artist Grind returns to the Sitka Performing Arts Center! 🎨

Join us Saturday, March 14 at 7pm for an evening of original music, spoken word, and a local art exhibit celebrating the creativity of Sitka artists.

Got a sweet tooth...or a secret baking talent? Bring a home-made dessert and enter it in the dessert contest! During intermission, enjoy hot beverages and a spread of desserts while you mingle and take in the art.

🎟 Tickets are $5 and available at Old Harbor Books or at the door.
🖼 Arrive early to browse the art exhibit before the show begins.

Come out for a cozy night of creativity, community, and homemade treats. 🍰

These are too cool! We love seeing opportunities like this for Sitka students. Creative mentorship and hands-on workshops help young artists find their voice and tell their stories. This kind of collaboration is part of what makes Sitka so special.
