A Hard Little Season Update ❤️🐟

This is a really hard post for me to write, and honestly, I’m pretty sad about it.

Beginning August 17th, The Fresh Fish will be taking a step back and offering a very limited menu for the remainder of the season.

I find myself extremely short-staffed, down to just me, and as much as I would love to think that I can do it all, I simply don’t have the capacity to keep up with the demands of cruise ship season on my own.

It’s hard to admit that I can’t do it all right now. I love what I’ve built here, I love feeding you all, and I hate having to scale things back when there are still so many of you wanting to come see me. But sometimes you have to know your capabilities. ❤️

So, if you’ve been wanting that Rockfish Po’boy, Blackened Halibut Taco, or Black Cod Tip Bowl — come see me and grab one while supplies last! 🐟🥖🌮

I’d love to send some of your favorites out with a proper goodbye for the season.

This week’s remaining hours:
Wednesday & Thursday
11am–4pm (or sold out)

Thank you for being patient with me, for understanding, and most of all, for continuing to show up and support this little food truck. Your support means more to me than I can put into words.

I’m sad that I have to make this change, but I’m also incredibly grateful for every person who has stopped by this season, brought friends and family, told someone about The Fresh Fish, or simply enjoyed a meal from me.

The Fresh Fish is looking for a hardworking, dependable **Prep/Line Cook** to join our team for the summer!

We're a fast-paced seafood food truck that takes pride in serving fresh, high-quality food with great customer service. We're looking for someone who enjoys staying busy, works well under pressure, and is ready to jump in wherever needed.

**What we're looking for:**
• Some kitchen, prep, or line cook experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a small team
• Positive attitude and attention to detail

**Responsibilities include:**
🔪 Food prep and knife work
🐟 Cooking and assembling menu items during service
🧽 Dishwashing and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen
📦 Stocking and keeping prep stations ready for service
🤝 Supporting the team to ensure smooth, efficient operations

This is a **seasonal summer position**, but for the right person, there's room to grow into additional responsibilities and the opportunity for continued employment during our winter season.

📣 A Little Schedule Update from The Fresh Fish 🐟

As we head into the rest of the season, we'll be making a few changes to our hours.

Starting this week, The Fresh Fish will be closed on Sundays for the remainder of the season.

Our new hours will be:
🕚 Monday–Thursday
11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and we truly appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Running a small, family-owned food truck means making a few adjustments from time to time, and we're grateful to have such an amazing community behind us.

We hope you'll stop by and see us during our open hours. We can't wait to serve you some fresh, local fish! 💙
