Sisters Coffee Company

Sisters Coffee Company Exceptional Coffee. Genuine Hospitality. Oregon Roots. A family-owned and operated roaster since 1989. Sisters | Bend | Portland Hood Ave.

Sisters Coffee Company began in 1989 when owners Winfield and Joy Durham converted an old cabin in Sisters, Oregon, into a retail and wholesale coffee roasting business. The business has since expanded to a much larger cabin and roastery in Sisters, a coffeehouse in Portland, and over 200 wholesale accounts in the Oregon area. Through it all, Sisters Coffee is still providing customers with fresh

roasted coffee, served up with the original old-fashioned rustic charm. Our two cafes are open everyday, except Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Sisters Coffee Hood Street Coffeehouse

A lunch classic done right. Layers of uncured salami, capicola, mortadella, and tangy provolone piled onto a hoagie roll with crisp veggies, banana peppers, and our house red wine vinaigrette. Served with chips and a pickle—only at Jackstraw.

What's in a tasting note? ☕ The descriptors on our coffee bags aren't added flavors—they're the natural characteristics we taste in the coffee itself. Tasting notes help describe a coffee's acidity, sweetness, and overall flavor profile. Using a flavor wheel, our roasters identify and communicate the nuances found in each roast.

What happens during a cupping? ☕

A cupping is the industry standard for evaluating coffee. Our roasting team tastes coffees side by side, paying close attention to aroma, acidity, sweetness, body, and flavor. It's how we discover tasting notes, compare harvests, and ensure every coffee meets our high standards before it reaches your cup.
