A heartfelt “thank you” to everyone who came out to celebrate with us at our retirement and customer appreciation event! Your support, smiles, and kind words meant the world to us.

While it’s bittersweet to close this chapter, we’re so grateful for the memories and relationships we’ve built over the years. We will truly miss seeing you all regularly, but this isn’t goodbye—it’s see you soon!

We hope to see you on our next adventure in Chester, SD!

Rosie's Cafe is closing after 41 years on West Madison Street. The family and staff behind the restaurant called Thursday, their final day of business, "bittersweet."

Heads up! This Thursday will be our last day serving food!

Please join us on Friday from 11AM-2PM at the cafe for a Customer Appreciation+ Retirement Party for Rosie (finally). Food will be provided, and we'd love to see your faces one more last time before we close the doors, officially!

Thank you again for the memories, laughs and support! Words will never express how much you have all meant to us these last 41 years!

📢-Update!

After 41 wonderful years, we want to share that Rosie’s Café will officially be closing its doors on Thursday, May 8th. We are so incredibly grateful for the love, support, and memories we’ve shared with this amazing community over the years.

While this chapter is ending, Rosie’s Café is still for sale, and we’re hopeful someone will continue its legacy.

To show our appreciation, we invite you to a Customer Appreciation and Retirement Party for Rosie on Friday, May 9th from 11AM-2PM!

📢Announcement- Secrets out! 📢

After 41 incredible years, our family has made the difficult decision to close Rosie’s Cafe and put it up for sale. We will remain open for the time being and will keep everyone updated as things change!

This journey has been nothing short of amazing, filled with unforgettable memories, cherished friendships, and the unwavering support of our community.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you—our loyal customers, dedicated employees, and friends who have become like family. Your support over the years has meant the world to us, and we are beyond grateful for the love you have shown.

While this chapter is coming to an end, we are hopeful that Rosie’s will find new owners who will continue to serve this wonderful community. If you or someone you know is interested in this opportunity, please reach out.

Hello Everyone!
Just a friendly reminder that Rosie’s Cafe does not participate with any delivery apps services like Grubhub, Doordash, etc. Some of these apps have listed Rosie’s Cafe as an option, but we do not use these services. We are a small, family-owned cafe and serve our customers for dine-in or even carryout if you call ahead at 605-334-7928. We thank everyone for supporting us and letting us serve the Sioux Falls community for the last 37 years!

There will be some changes to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.
1) Limiting hours- 7am-1pm
2) Limited seating
3) Staff will be wearing masks
4) Limited menu
