Sometimes saying Thank you is not enough! It has taken me a couple of days to wrap my head around the closing of the shop this season.
I had a dream 11 years ago to buy this little shop and hoped that it would provide a place where families could come and build memories. What I never dreamed was how the community could come together. When I turn on the news and hear all the negativity- I look out my window and see that line (many times where I can’t see the end) and think not here- I get to see neighbors talking and laughing, teams celebrating, strangers getting to know each other, little ones giving hugs to the person they just met, and people of all ages and races being a community!! I go to the corner and see kids playing and becoming friends, a see picnic tables being moved to accommodate big groups, I see youth groups in circles talking instead of being on their phones (sometimes I think they are even playing duck duck goose 😊) Sometimes the days and weeks seem long and stressful- but then I see all that and know every minute of work that I put in and all the time my incredible employees give me is all worth it.
So thank you to all my customers for making my dreams and more come true! Thank you for loving each other and making that little corner in life so meaningful, special, and friendly! Thank you for supporting my little shop.
We had a blast coming up with all the little themes this year- we hope the decorations gave you a smile as you drove by and we hope you enjoyed all the new creations! Stay tuned as we have some more in mind for next year- but if you have any suggestions- we would love to hear them.
Have a safe and healthy winter and we look forward to seeing all of you again next year!
Thanks again for another incredible season❤️🍦❤️
