We want to Thank everyone who came to help us following the loss of our underground and overhead power lines and internet on Thursday afternoon-there’s just no way we could have recovered so quickly or moved into our new building without the love and dedication of so many friends and family. ❤️.
Thanks to our amazing team; Catie, Robby, Bethany, Shan, Kaydence and Naomi; they came in early yesterday morning, cleaned everything and set up their spaces then returned this morning to prep food and drinks. Jon La Joie; who’s continuing to build and paint. Pat and Andra Burrell who did the heavy lifting and took care of more projects than we can count. Brandon Day who stayed until 2:00am this morning moving out the old shop, cleaning the parking lot and taking care of misc things. Jacob with Fresh Start for a delicious breakfast and installation of the front counter and vinyl wrap on the Barista counter. Chad and Amie Stewart who surprised us all with dinner from Mi Pueblo last night, The Lakes Plumbing who worked in the kitchen until Midnight, Entergy who installed new poles and lines, Janet, with the Hardin County Health Department who went over and above to help us reopen, Spectrum who ran new lines this morning to get us back online and everyone who stopped by with words of encouragement and prayers. Silsbee is a great community and it’s because of all of you, we were able to re-open so soon! ❤️

Village Creek Coffee will be CLOSED Friday May 15. We were at the epicenter of the Thursday afternoon power outage when an oversized semi-truck severed our power line crossing the highway and snapped multiple power poles on both sides of the street. Power has been restored to our new building but we permanently lost power to our trailer. We will be working Friday to complete the switch over to our new building. A big thank you to Entergy, Silsbee Fire and Silsbee police departments for getting power restored so quickly.

We will be closed Friday at a minimum with downed power poles and lines.
