Today, the Siler City Lions Club held a food drive for the CORA Food Pantry. We successfully filled the truck! We want to give a big thank you to Piggly Wiggly in Siler City for allowing us to host the food drive at their store.

We also want to thank everyone who donated and helped make this event possible. Thanks to your generosity and support, we collected over 770 pounds of food for CORA!

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to serve our community. Thank you, Siler City, for helping us make a difference!

We are excited to host our annual Food Drive this Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 9 am - 2 pm at Piggly Wiggly in Siler City, where we come together as a community to make a positive impact on the lives of those facing food insecurity. Our goal is to fill the back of our truck with food items to donate to our local CORA food pantry. Anything helps, so we'd love to see your support!
