Dry Dock family and friends, It is with an extremely heavy heart that I make this post this morning. Around midnight, we got the call that there was a structure fire at the restaurant. It is too early to know what started it, but when we arrived, the building was in flames. There is extensive structural damage to our kitchen and takeout area, as well as the waitress station, so we will be closed for the foreseeable future. Please keep our employees and their families in your prayers, as well as Lee, Christina and myself. There are no words to describe the devastating loss that this is to us, but we will be back soon!
On behalf of the three of us, we want to sincerely thank all of the men and women that got out of the bed on this cold and rainy night to come put out the fire. There were fire trucks in our parking lot from Pittsboro, Bennett, Silk Hope, Staley, and of course Siler City. To the SCPD as well as First Health, Duke Energy and the Chatham County Fire Marshall, from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you!
