“Unk’s Kitchen was born from the idea of ‘comfort food with a twist.’ Growing up, food was always about family, culture, and storytelling. I wanted to create a place that takes those soulful dishes people already love, and elevate them with global influences — whether that’s a jerk chicken taco, shrimp & grits, or a Southern fried catfish po’ boy. It’s food that feels familiar but surprises you at the same time.”

What makes Unk’s Kitchen stand out from other restaurants in the area?

“I’d say two things: flavor and culture. Our dishes aren’t just cooked — they’re crafted, with layers of flavor and influences from Caribbean, Southern, and Asian cuisines.
