FIANLLY!!!! My phone did an update months ago, and I couldn't access this account. I finally got it fixed! Just to update everyone, here is my response to a post on Rants and Raves:
I'm the owner of Big Momma's. Looks like I need to clarify some things. I was open every Saturday and Sunday. There were plenty times that I was the only one open. The mall manager demanded I be open every day. I couldn't do that for two reasons; 1. Due to my back injury, I physically could not do it 7 days a week, (this is why I went back to selling insurance), and 2. I had tried being open Tuesday-Sunday, however with the constant increase in food costs, and not enough customers on those days, it was just not cost effective. I tried to explain this to the manager, but she insisted I open, regardless if it was cost effective or not. My agreement was on a month to month basis. She told me in November that if I was only going to be open on the weekends, I couldn't continue after December. In mid December, she said I COULD continue. I planned on opening Thurs-Sunday starting in January, but she notified me on December 23rd that she rented my spot to a bakery because they were willing to be open every day. I loved working there. I love my customers, including the mall employees and vendors. The good news is..... I've been discussing different options with the owner of Seasonings, (the spot next to where I was.) We are considering combining our menu items and being open 5-6 days. If I don't do that, I'll continue to do events and catering.
