Nestled at the base of the Sierra Buttes whose rocky peaks tower 8,600 feet, Herrington's Sierra Pines Resort is located in historic Sierra City. Founded in 1850 and once a booming mining town, Sierra City has become a popular tourist area. Splendid scenery abounds as the beautiful Yuba River meanders for a third of a mile through the resort property. The Resort maintains private walking trails where you will find picnic tables and chairs placed along the river for our guests' relaxation.

Well, we're not done yet! While our official "Music in the Meadow" series ended last weekend, we'd like to invite you on Friday night, 9/25 at 6pm to hear The Banner Mountain Blues Band! Suzi will be celebrating her 80th birthday with us and has offered this opportunity to all! See you in the meadow. We'll also be selling tacos in the meadow and our restaurant will be open for dinner.
