Sweet E's Gluten Free Kitchen Dedicated gluten-free kitchen taking custom baking orders Orders are live from Monday evening until Wednesday at noon.

The pickup for orders is the following Sunday (4-5pm) and Monday (4-5:30pm). Pick-up location: 12800 Wenger Rd Anna (barns, not house), enter next to the bear statue!

Kaleb & I have 1 year before we'll both be headed to DC for his 8th grade trip. That said, we are kicking off another bake sale fund raiser in October 🍪. We plan to continue them monthly through this school year. Please drop suggestions below for what you'd like to see on the menu. I'm ready to put this boy to work!

Side note: Kaleb makes AMAZING cinnamon rolls. They are NOT GF & will be made in another kitchen, but y'all... if you tolerate gluten, you do NOT wanna miss these. We plan to keep them on the monthly rotation. 🤤

Y'all... we're 5 years into this GF thing in our household and I've failed at making a decent loaf of bread more times than I can count. But last night... last night I made this bad boy right here and he was beautiful!! It looks like bread, it smells like bread (is there a better smell in the kitchen than freshly-baked bread?), it tastes and feels like bread. It's soft & airy & has just the right amount of chewyness... woot, woot!
It sorta blew my mind if you can't tell. That said, I'm going to try the recipe again with my regular GF flour because that's more accessible. The flour I used may or may not have been imported from Italy 🤣. So. Freakin. Excited. Bread is the thing that's just been a wreck since day 1. I've even ordered subscription boxes of GF bread & this was better. I don't even wanna talk about how much of an epic failure my sourdough journey was 🤦‍♀️ - MaDOUGHnna & Jon BUN Jovi let me down.
Eeeek! Happy dance over bread!

Busy weeknight meal idea:
Hoisin Meatballs w/ Stir fry veggies 🥕🥦🫛

I have a ton of baking to do tonight, so I needed a quick meal that'd feed the fam and I did NOT want to make a sink full of dishes.

Picked up our fave GF meatballs from the frozen section at Kroger & a bag of teriyaki stir fry veggies from produce (throw away the teriyaki sauce... it's not GF).

When I got home, I threw the meatballs in the airfryer, boiled some water to make some jasmine rice, and grabbed a GF hoisin sauce out of the pantry while the stir fry veggies cooked. GF hoisin sauce is hard to find around here (Piqua Walmart carries my favorite one), but I'd ordered several of a different brand to try on Amazon a while back.

Dinner was on the table in less than 20 minutes and the kids loved it. We have enough leftovers to pack a few lunches tomorrow. Bonus: I didn't spend $60+ on Chinese takeout!! 🥡
