Here we are, over a decade into our gluten free journey. đź©·
RyleighCakes didn’t start as a business; although, that was always in the back of my mind. It really started as a promise.
In the beginning of 2015, Ryleigh was diagnosed with celiac disease at just 4 years old.
I’ll never forget the call that turned our lives upside down… but in the best possible way.
Growing up in a family where holidays meant gathering, and food was how we connected, I knew I had to figure it out.
I was determined to make sure she never felt left out… that she always had something equivalent to everyone else at the table.
Over the years, that turned into learning, testing, failing, recreating, and sometimes making things even better than the original, just on a gluten-free scale.
What started as something for her quickly became something I could offer to others.
I’ve had the opportunity to create for children and families with all kinds of dietary needs, always with one goal in mind:
inclusivity.
No one should feel like they’re missing out.
RyleighCakes has always been about more than baking and it's so exciting to be able to share that with our local community.
