Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee works directly with Rwandan farmers through collaborative trade. Every cup supports fair wages, education, health clinics, and community projects. When you choose our coffee, you are part of that impact, one meaningful cup at a time.

The Well at Brookwood proudly serves Land of a Thousand Hills coffee.

Walking 3 hours a day for water was once daily life in Bwenda.

Bwenda, Rwanda is a hillside community of 360 families connected to the Ruli Mountain coffee region.
For years the closest water source was an hour and a half walk each way. Women and young girls made this trip every single day to collect water.

Today two water catchment systems sit at the center of the village, one for the community and one for the school, giving families cleaner and closer access to water.

Every time you choose coffee from The Well at Brookwood, you take part in projects like Water for Bwenda.

Did you know here at The Well at Brookwood, we support Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Co? When we purchase a single bag of coffee beans, it equals a full day’s wages for one farmer in Rwanda. All farmers receive fair wages, ensuring sustained income, and job security.

Rise Up & Roast is an employment readiness and job training program designed for participants in The Hub’s programs. The aim of Rise Up & Roast is to create a runway to self-suficiency for victims of trafficking and individuals experiencing poverty, through training and dignified employment. Rise Up & Roast provides high quality coffee with an even higher quality story. Every bag of Rise Up & Roast is prepared and packaged by a graduate of one of The Hub’s programs - which means your coffee has fueled a future. When you have a fresh cup, you’ve given a fresh start!
