UPDATE!!! Smittys is now live on Uber Eats!!

Smittys Pizza will be joining the delivery service Uber Eats. Our tablet should be at the restaurant tomorrow and as soon as we go live we will post on Facebook.

Another update on Becky.
Becky came home from the hospital yesterday. She stopped by Smitty’s today for a brief visit. She is very weak of course but feels better. It took a lot out of her to get out and get her meds today and stop by here but we were glad to see her and give her hugs. Not sure when she will be back at work because she still has a ways to go but we will

Update on Becky!!!!
Just got off the phone with Becky and she is going home today. The hospital is doing her discharge papers. She said she is going home and take a nap!!! Not sure when she will be back to work because she hasn’t eaten much and has lost weight and of course she is very weak. When she has the ok to come back from her doctor we will start her out on very limited days/hours until she gets her strength back. Keep praying for her!

Update on Becky!!! She is drinking clear liquids. The biopsy came back and it was negative for a tumor. Brett says please keep the prayers coming. We know she still has a long road to go to build up her strength and you know she has lost weight and she sure didn’t need that. So keep on praying and we are still taking donations for her to help with bills and medical expenses because when she is released and can come back to work she will have to take it a day at a time because she can’t come back immediately and work fulltime. Thank you to all of our customers that have donated so far. We appreciate all your help.

Smittys Pizza at 2525 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA is looking for a night time dishwasher. If you are interested please apply in person. We are closed on Mondays. Open Tuesday-Sunday and your shift would start at 5:00 PM until close. This is a part time job but a very important position to our restaurant.

UPDATE ON BECKY-August 14th. Breathing tube has been removed. She is still in ICU. Brett said drugs are making her think she is a purple alien!!! Keep the prayers coming. We are still taking donations for her and Brett to help them pay bills while she is in the hospital.

UPDATE ON BECKY:
The biopsy was done today. Her blood pressure is up and they are going to remove the breathing tube tomorrow. Brett also said her heart is doing good. He said keep the prayers coming because it’s working. Now we pray the biopsy comes back good.

To all of our customers at Smitty’s. We need your help with prayers for our Becky. She was having trouble breathing yesterday and Brett took her to the ER. They sedated her and inserted a breathing tube. She had a mild heart attack and she has pneumonia. Her throat has a lump in it as well that is restricting her airway. They will be doing a biopsy as soon as they can to see what it is. Right now she is in ICU. We know many of her regular customers have her cell phone number. She is sedated and can not talk. Please refrain from calling her as Brett is dealing with family from out of town calling and checking on her. We will keep you posted on her condition as it becomes available to us. We will have a donation jar set up for donations if anyone can help her out because they depend on her income. Of course we will also be taking care of her ourselves money wise. We know as well as all of you how hard she works and takes care of her customers, friends and family and we just want to help her out as much as we can.

Update on Becky: 8/12/2026
Brett said Becky will be having her biopsy tomorrow, August 13th. They have decided to keep her at Willis Knighton South for the biopsy and not move her to North because her heart seems to be doing good. There is a possibility they will be able to remove the tube after the biopsy so let’s pray they can. Once again please pray for her as she goes through this. And thank you to everyone that has come by Smitty’s and made donations. We will be taking donations as long as necessary. Smittys has done fundraisers, made donations and sponsored ball teams through the years and we are asking for help for one of our employees and it would be nice if the favor would be returned to help Becky.

DON’T FORGET ABOUT OUR SPECIAL FOR KIDS 12 YEARS AND YOUNGER STARTING TODAY, AUGUST 4,5, and 6th.

On August 4,5 and 6th we are doing a back to school special for families with kids 12 years old and younger. This is a dine in special only. Parents that bring their littles in if they are 12 years or younger can get a free one topping thin crust individual pizza with the purchase of a large pizza. We know with having to buy school supplies and uniforms it’s expensive so we wanted to do this for the little ones.
