Yesterday was a BUSY one, and y’all showed Good Cravingz so much love! 🙌🏾 We sold out of a lot of food, so please keep in mind that today’s menu will be very limited.
We’ll still be at Barksdale Federal Credit Union from 11AM–2PM serving what we have available until sold out.

We sincerely apologize to anyone we may not have satisfied yesterday. We know we can’t please everyone, but we truly appreciate everyone who came out and supported Good Cravingz.

With several food trucks there, we were so grateful to see so many of you choose our line. If you had to wait, thank you for your patience, and we hope we made it **worth the wait.**

Whew… look how far we’ve come. 🥹❤️
Good Cravingz has been operating since 2021. I remember telling my husband that I wanted a stable home for my food truck somewhere my customers would always know where to find me. So we cleared our lot on Southern Loop and started building that vision.
This picture was taken in 2022 when we thought we were getting ready for our grand opening. Little did we know, Southern Loop would turn into a nightmare, and the journey ahead would be much harder and longer than we ever imagined.
There were plenty of nights I cried in the shower because I just couldn’t understand why it had to be so hard. We were simply trying to build something for ourselves and our family. There were times I was tired, frustrated, discouraged, and just didn’t understand.
But we never stopped. ❤️
We kept the food truck moving. We kept working. We kept investing. We kept believing. We kept building.
Now here we are in 2026, still standing and getting closer to opening Good Cravingz Patio. 🙌🏾
Sometimes what feels like a setback is really part of your story. Four years later, the dream didn’t die it got bigger. ❤️
Every setback is a setup for a comeback.
Keep going. Your time is coming. 💪🏾❤️

🥹❤️ I really feel like God was preparing me this whole time.
16 years old — Subway on Benton Road, fixing sandwiches right in front of customers.
17 — IHOP on Airline Drive. My mama’s best friend was a manager and helped me get the job. I was young, hardheaded… and yes, I got FIRED. 😭😂
17–18 — Popeyes on Airline.
19 — Wendy’s at TWO different locations. And baby, I was one of the BEST to do it. 😂 They wouldn’t make me a manager though. Looking back, I’m glad they didn’t. 😭😂
19–20 — KFC on Hearn Ave. Whew Lord. 😭 I was young, hotheaded, and ready to sling more than chicken. 😂 But then motherhood changed me. Having my son made me grow up and look at life differently. 🥹❤️ Thank you, God, for saving me from myself.
Now I look back and realize every one of those jobs taught me something.
How to serve people.
How to move fast.
How to handle pressure.
What good management looks like.
And DEFINITELY what not to do. 😂
Back then, I thought I was just working fast food jobs.
Now I see God was preparing me.
And now, years later, I’m getting ready to run MY OWN restaurant. 🥹🙌🏽
