Our third musician in the line up of nine awesome jazz bands at the North City Jazz Walk is a woman who's been inducted into the Seattle Jazz Hall of Fame, voted “Northwest Vocalist of the Year” by readers of Earshot Jazz 8 times in 18 years, and is one of the most talented, well-known, and beloved singers working jazz stages today: Greta Matassa 🎤❤️🎶

It's no wonder she's a Jazz Walk favorite... Greta's 40 year career has included working with top jazz musicians in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York, including a feature with bassist John Clayton’s group in a centennial tribute to Ella Fitzgerald, and recorded 11 CDs. Her remarkable range and versatility is "like an instrumentalist in a jam session," says Jim Wilke, Seattle jazz maven and host of the syndicated "Jazz After Hours" radio program.
