Our friends at the Cumberland County Food System Alliance - PA are hosting "Building Better Plates: Practical Nutrition for Real Life,"an event focused on making realistic, healthy eating work in everyday life.

Good nutrition and food security go hand in hand, and building regional partnerships strengthens food systems everywhere, including right here in Adams County. Solidarity in action! 🤝

🧡 It was an honor to witness the Cumberland County Commissioners proclaim September as Hunger Action Month.

As one commissioner said, “I wish we could make a proclamation about having no hunger.”

There’s still much work ahead—from increasing food access and supporting our farmers to preserving farmland and strengthening local agriculture. And we couldn’t do it without our incredible community partners.

Together, let’s work toward a healthy and resiliant Cumberland County. 🧡🌱
