Sometimes focus means letting go of something good.

Our cafes in York and Columbia are transitioning to Denim Coffee Company (), an independent cafe operator and roaster. We’re confident these cafes—and the communities around them—will be in good hands.

Our final day serving the York community will be Sept 16th, our 7th anniversary. Gift cards may continue to be redeemed at our Lancaster cafe or online at necessarycoffee.com.

This transition allows us to focus our energy on Lancaster and Passenger’s continued growth, where we believe we can do our best work.

We’re deeply grateful to everyone who made our York and Columbia cafes what they are. We’re proud of what we built together and excited to see Denim carry these spaces into their next chapter.
