I check another goal off my list. 💪🏼

October 2024 I started school to become an Esthetician.. Truth be told, I first visited that school 3 years prior to when I actually went, with intentions, one day i would be able to go.
March 25th, 2025, I graduated. Boy was that ever a LONG 6 months.. So so so many tears. School full time. Full time mom. Football season. Daughters health issues, sickness season, Plus working full time to afford school and life and child care. I can’t tell you the amount of times I heard “Why don’t you put school on hold and finish when life is more calm?”.
Absolutely not. 1. I survive in the chaos. 2. My head was set on something. I was finishing it. I had the most incredible support system standing behind me. My #1 cheerleader pushing me through, being my Grandma.
No matter the struggle, no matter the hardships, I would finish, pass, and succeed. I was leading by example for my three beautiful children.
Since day one of school, I knew I planned to open my own salon. April 25 I launched. We have almost been open ONE WHOLE YEAR! I submitted my 2025 taxes. I cried happy tears. I could not believe the growth in my first 8 months I seen on paper.
Now, 4 months later, still COMPLETELY blown away..
Today closed another week, a record breaking week, between sales and new clients.. I could not be more thankful. Y'all show up! Word of mouth, sharing my posts, all the things, Y’ALL MADE THIS HAPPEN!! I can’t say thank you enough, i can’t cry enough happy tears..
I had a dream. I made it a goal. It became reality. I did it for them. ⬇️ Even through the struggles, the hard times, the late nights, early mornings, I constantly remind myself I’m doing this for them. I am leading by example. To chase your dreams. Work hard. And let nothing stand in your way.
