Hey there, my husband just finished up some property clean up, I was going to rent a dumpster but I wanted to reach out to see if there's someone that does this type of hauling away, and in need of work, I would rather give work to someone rather than to waste management, thank you so much oh ya from cottonwood

**** A little update..as far as I know there has been no contact from the person who wanted to adopt Luthor.. he follows my page so I am not calling him out.. I hid his comments from Luthor’s post before because do not want any bullying.. it is what is.. I will hide the comments if you tag the rescue..

Info on Luthor.. he is a 18 month old Husky/german shepherd/ retriever mix.. he was housed with other dogs but we require a meet and greet if yin have a dog.. cats are unknown..

Maybe he dodged a bullet.. maybe he wasn’t meant to go to Tennessee.. but I know for damn sure he is phenomenal dog who will find his hooman and his path.. he will find a hooman that enjoys his frisbee, squeaky ball and pool..****

💔 I’m at a loss for words right now… and my heart hurts for Luthor.

All week I have been looking forward to one thing — taking Luthor’s FREEDOM picture. 💙

Someone back east was dead set on adopting him, and there was a plan to transport him to Tennessee. First it was Monday… then Tuesday… then Thursday… then we were told the transport would be here this morning.

And they never came.

The rescue helping pull Luthor has been in constant contact and trying to make this happen, but we lost communication with the USDA transporter. We later learned the transport has been extremely unreliable. Now, to make matters worse, we can’t get ahold of the Tennessee contact either. I have tried every way I know how.

So right now, Luthor is in limbo. He is NOT secured by a rescue.

Another rescue — a wolf rescue — has graciously offered to help him, and I am incredibly thankful they are willing to step up. But Luthor is NOT a wolf dog, and ultimately he would be going from one kennel to another. After everything this boy has been through, that is not what I wanted for him.

And now I’m really worried.

Luthor has stopped eating. His food has remained untouched for the last two days. Kennel life is taking a toll on him. 😢

The dog who came to us terrified of people learned to trust. I watched him transform when I discovered that the way to his heart wasn’t treats — it was a FRISBEE. 🥏❤️

Give him a frisbee, a squeaky ball or a kiddie pool and you see the real Luthor. That happy, goofy boy is still in there.

I thought this week I would finally get to watch him walk out those doors.

Instead, he is still sitting in his kennel waiting.

Please… I need everyone to start sharing Luthor again. We need a solid adopter or rescue for this boy. Someone who will follow through and give him the life we have been fighting so hard to find for him.

🚨 WE ARE FULL — AND SCRAPPY IS RUNNING OUT OF TIME! 🚨

As most of you know, Scrappy was returned through absolutely no fault of his own. He had been adopted, but unfortunately his adopters realized they weren’t equipped to provide the specialized care he needs.

Scrappy originally came to us as a stray, and shortly afterward he was diagnosed with Megaesophagus (MegaE).

But PLEASE understand something…

💙 MegaE does NOT define Scrappy. 💙

He is still a goofy, energetic, playful 8-month-old puppy who wants everything every other puppy wants — to play, be loved, and have a family of his own.

The biggest difference? Scrappy eats sitting upright in his Bailey Chair. His meals and feeding routine need to be managed carefully, and his future family needs to understand MegaE and be 100% committed to his lifelong care. Megaesophagus can carry serious risks, including aspiration pneumonia, so this isn’t something we want anyone going into unprepared. Upright feeding and remaining upright after meals are commonly part of managing the condition.

I have been learning right along with Scrappy, figuring out what works for him, and he has been putting weight back on. ❤️ Look at that face sitting in his Bailey Chair! He doesn’t know he’s “different.” He just knows it’s time to EAT! 😂

We are moving forward with finding either a committed adopter OR a rescue for Scrappy. An adopter needs to understand that loving Scrappy means committing to his special feeding routine and care — not just today, but for the long haul.

Please don’t forget about Buddy. Look at that face…and that football! 🏈🥹

Buddy is a handsome Pyrenees/Husky mix, and I am honestly shocked that this boy hasn’t had more meet and greets. He has so much love and personality to offer, but time is running out.

And guess what I FINALLY discovered?!

🏈 BUDDY IS A FOOTBALL BOY!!! 🏈

I found his absolute FAVORITE toy—a football! This boy has a blast fetching it, carrying it around, and waiting for me to throw it again.

Now Buddy is just looking for his very own QUARTERBACK. 🏈🐾

Last week, because of the rain, I closed the front gates and let the dogs have some extra room to play. Most dogs immediately want to explore every inch they can…but not Buddy.

Buddy chose to stay close to me and the volunteers. ❤️

That says so much about this boy. He wants to be near his people. He’s loyal, affectionate, and happiest when he knows his humans are right there with him.

🐾 Buddy does well with female dogs. Males are unknown, so if you have another dog, a meet and greet is required to make sure everyone is a good match.

🐱 Cats are still an unknown. He had a reaction to a rather “spicy” kitten 😂, so I cannot confidently say how he would do living with cats.

💙 His adoption fee has been lowered to ONLY $45!

But the most important thing is this:

I don’t want Buddy’s football sitting in an empty kennel. I want to see him carrying it into his furever home with his new family beside him.

4-year-old Great Pyrenees Mix mix with a gorgeous liver-and-white coat and the cutest eyebrows! Sweet, playful and fun, Buddy also loves relaxing beside his person. He’s treat-motivated, knows how to sit and has done well with female dogs. ❤️ He does require special food for gastrointestinal issues. Buddy has an easygoing personality and would make a great dog for any type of household as long as there is a yard. He won't shed like a husky because his coat is different, but he will still shed. His hackles go up when he sees cats. We do not know how he does with cats. READY TO GO TODAY.

This 2-year-old Tri-Colored Rottie/Doberman mix is energetic, goofy, fun-loving and still waiting for someone to simply come meet him. He loves toys, playing and turning the kiddie pool into a muddy masterpiece. 😂💦 He doesn't do well with cats, he will try to chase them. Bodie is extremely high energy and would do well where he can get his high energy levels out. He is seeking an active hooman partner or someone with a lot of land, so he can run. Bodie doesn't do well with smaller children because he has to work on his human manners more, he likes to jump and wag his tail full speed. Bodie loves to swim and play in the water, if you are a lake person then Bodie could be a good fit for you. READY TO GO TODAY.

18-month-old Shepherd mix who has completely transformed from a terrified, unsure shelter dog into a FRISBEE FREAK! 😂 He loves fetch, could play for hours and absolutely loves the kiddie pool. Luthor has made amazing progress learning to trust people and gets along with other dogs (meet & greet required). Older, respectful children are suggested, and cats are unknown. He’s come so far — now he needs a family to keep that frisbee flying! He could make a great family dog because he is still young and learning. READY TO GO TODAY. 🥹💙

Everyone remembers Scrappy — the sweet puppy who stole hearts after being diagnosed with Megaesophagus (MegaE) and learning to eat upright in his special highchair.

Scrappy was adopted, but had to be returned due to unfortunate circumstances

Scrappy is now at risk. 🚨

We need someone experienced with MegaE and properly equipped to provide the specialized, daily care he requires. He has also lost some weight, and we are currently working with him and our vet to help get those calories back on. We started feeding him his food in a meatball form which is recommended for MegaE dogs and so far, this has been working for him and he immediately started gaining weight again. He is doing really well!💙

We love this boy, but a shelter is simply not the right long-term environment for a puppy with his medical needs. He gets adopted/rescued with his Bailey Chair.

Koda has been ADOPTED ❤️

Sometimes things don't work out for a reason, it is sad but we look at it as the best is yet to come. Koda has been returned to the rescue due to no fault of his own 😭 He was a very good boy with his adopter and was loved but Koda's adopter lived in the Country and even though Koda has excellent recall he couldn't resist chasing deer and other critters, he always came back but his adopter was worried he would get himself into trouble...

So Koda is available for adoption! Koda is incredibly sweet, loyal and well behaved 💞 Koda is housetrained, crate trained, rides great in the car and seriously he is just a lover boy. Koda is good with all people including kids, good with other dogs but no cats or deer 🤣. Koda needs some exercise like walks or adventures but for a heeler he doesn't have over the top energy. He has herded dogs when playing chase 🤣. Thank you to his foster mom Lorrie Davidson for of course taking Koda back into the fold 💕

Koda is nuetered, fully vet and on preventions.
