Terry lit up our dining room celebrating a birthday she swears is her 21st (again) and we’re happy to let her have it! It was such a joy having her, along with her wonderful family and friends, celebrate with us at Hagy’s.

A very special shout-out goes to the incredibly generous customer who quietly picked up the tab for Terry’s whole table. Acts of kindness like that are what make a special day unforgettable, thank you for making it happen! ❤️

Some folks come to the Catfish Hotel for the fried catfish. Some come for the river view. Resa Frederick came, had a marvelous meal, and then threw her arms wide open on our porch like she’d just been crowned queen of Hardin County — and honestly? After a Catfish Hotel meal, that’s the correct response.

Resa’s a private practice mental health counselor, artist, and digital creator who spends her days pouring into folks all over North Mississippi. So when she rolls up ready to soak in a little river breeze and good food, we consider that a job well done on our part.

Come on down, eat till you’re happy, and don’t be surprised if the porch makes you want to throw your arms out too. We won’t judge — we might just take your picture
