Whether you are dining in our beautiful nostalgic dining room or ordering to go through our Bakery/Deli, you will enjoy the same exquisite foods prepared by Kathleen and her personally trained staff. Kathleen’s offers "Breakfast on the Run" in the bakery, with continual "To Go" service from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday thru Friday (9:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday). The Restaurant is open from 11:00am to 2
:00pm Monday thru Friday for lunch. Catering is available with our dining facilities or off site catering as well. That is the phrase my husband repeated to me as we built cabinets and painted walls night after night at my new home away from home in 1994. That new home was to be Kathleen’s Kitchen. Having baked a few loaves of sourdough bread for a few friends, a few cakes for their friends, and so on, Kathleen’s Kitchen was in the forming stages literally in my own home kitchen beginning in 1986. Realizing that people would actually pay for quality foods, I began taking my basket of goodies to the business people and earned a reputation in our community years before I opened Kathleen’s Kitchen. Knowing that I was outgrowing my home kitchen, I searched for a place to open a bakery/deli. Starting with one employee, and myself on June 4, 1994, Kathleen’s Kitchen became a reality and 'they' did come and have been faithful in coming since that day. With urging from customers for a nice place to sit down and eat, the idea for "Kathleen’s" the restaurant was born. Once again my husband said, "If we build it, they will come." In December 1997, "Kathleen’s" opened the doors for yet another chapter of the story. Many days the restaurant is filled to capacity the entire lunch hours and customers have learned to make reservations to assure a dining spot. Although Kathleen’s Kitchen has expanded and grown the staff to about 20 employees, Quality, whether in the bakery or restaurant has never been compromised. Kathleen’s Kitchen has currently evolved into offering specialized catering during the day, evening catering on site as well as off site, several special holiday offerings as well as trays or cakes for all occasions. Sharing the responsibilities of the business are Kathleen’s husband, Grover and, daughters, Heather and Rebecca.
