Bringing a sense of local pride, and wild mountain adventure, we serve lunch Monday thru Friday and supper Thursday evenings. We bake our own biscuits, whole multi-grain sandwich rolls, and a bounty of pastries, all made with local Montana Wheat. We cater all events, especially those rugged canvas covered gatherings. We do clean up nicely though and provide elegant fare for weddings and more forma

l events. We’ve got quite a client list, including Yellowstone National Park, the Ruby Valley Chamber of Commerce, and many private parties. Our goal is to source as much of our ingredients for our great tasting foods from local farms and ranches, and to provide the Ruby Valley with an atmosphere for local art and music.

The Shovel & Spoon will be Closing after lunch at 2pm on Friday, Sept. 17th. Janet is retiring from the restaurant business, and the restaurant has sold! Please come in and use your Gift Certificates! Frozen Suppers available at end of day Friday were, Jambalaya and Chicken Enchiladas.

A Grand Closing party will take place on Saturday, September 18th, 5:30pm at The Shovel & Spoon. We would love to have you, our valued customers, join us to commemorate the past eight years. There will be live music, food and beverages!! Please join us!!

COOKING FOR 40 YEARS And still loving it!
I know what it's like to be hungry after a hard day at work, or in need of a home cooked meal when you're on the road. I was born and raised right here in the Ruby Valley, and getting through the day with a quality meal is important. I've been cooking professionally for the last 40 years, and I still love it.
