We’re hiring a Night Cleaner at Java Moon Station.

We’re looking for someone who notices the things other people might miss and takes pride in leaving a space truly clean.

This is an independent cleaning position for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable deep cleaning a busy coffee shop.

• 4–5 hours per week
• $30/hour
• Java Moon Station — 1935 Coffeen Ave.
• Evening/nighttime hours

Don King Days is one of them.

Horses on the field, the Bighorns in the background, friends and families gathered together, and a whole lot of Wyoming tradition all in one place.

Fall is starting to sneak into the bakery case.

We’ve officially said goodbye to our blueberry muffins for now and made room for Apple Cinnamon — big, crumbly-topped muffins that just feel right this time of year.

And we switched things up on the savory side too. Our new Cheddar Bacon Chive scone is here, and I have a feeling this one is going to find some very loyal fans.

I love watching the bakery change with the seasons. A new batch going into the oven, the case filling back up, and suddenly it feels like fall at Java Moon Station.

If you’re stopping in tomorrow morning, you might want to take a look at the bakery case before you order your usual. There are a few new reasons to change your mind.

Apparently September is close enough to Christmas.

Because the second the pumpkin bread comes back, we’re singing “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Pumpkin” around here.

And yes… it is officially back.

Our pumpkin bread is being baked again, topped with that thick layer of frosting, sliced up, and put out at both Java Moon and Java Moon Station.

This is one of those things that just feels like the beginning of a new season at Java Moon. The bakery starts smelling different, pumpkin starts showing up everywhere, and suddenly summer feels like it’s on its way out.

So if you’ve been waiting for this one — your wait is over.

Pumpkin bread is back at both shops.

A little Labor Day reminder from us — yes, we’re open.

But honestly, the bigger reminder is that we’re here 7 days a week.

Because sometimes you need coffee before the week really gets going. Sometimes you need lunch in the middle of a crazy day. And sometimes it’s Sunday and you just want someone else to make the coffee.

If you’re on the go, swing through the drive-thru at Java Moon Station and we’ll get you on your way.

And if you’re downtown and have a little more time, come into Java Moon, grab a table, have some breakfast or lunch, and stay awhile.

The baristas have officially taken over the marketing department.

And honestly… I love it.

They seem to think we all need to mix things up a little this week, and I’m not going to argue with them. Their pick: the Banana Popsicle Spritzer — banana + toasted marshmallow.

It’s a little different, a little fun, and exactly the kind of thing they knew deserved its own moment.

Avery, Hailey and Savannah are ready for you at the Station — come say hi, let them make you one, and have a little fun with them while you’re here.

Sunday polo just feels like Sheridan.

Polo has been part of our family for 25 years, and even though my dad, Bullet Bob Brotherton, has retired, polo will always be part of our lives.

That’s also why the Bullet Bob Blend means a little more to us than just a bag of coffee. It carries a piece of that story with it.

So spending a Sunday afternoon out at the fields, watching polo, seeing familiar faces, and having Java Moon be part of the day feels pretty special.

And if you’ve never spent a Sunday afternoon at polo, you really should. Grab a coffee at Java Moon on your way out, bring a chair, spend some time outside, watch the horses, and take in a little bit of what makes this corner of Wyoming so special.

And while you’re in, grab a bag of Bullet Bob Blend to take home. It’s a little piece of the polo story that has been part of our family for 25 years.

You don’t have to know anything about polo to enjoy it. Sometimes it’s just about getting out, trying something new, and being part of the community around you.

Part 2 of the Moon Rover story.

When Megan and I bought Glazed & Confused in August of 2024, this old food truck came with the business.

And then it sat.

For a year and a half.

While we were busy turning the space into Java Moon Station, we kept looking at this truck and talking about what we might do with it someday.

Well…someday finally came.

We started by peeling away Glazed & Confused and getting her down to a completely blank slate.

And I use the word “blank” pretty generously.

The inside was rough. The outside needed work. There were things we wanted to save, things that definitely had to go, and a whole lot we still had to figure out.

And this is where my partner in crime, Ryan with Forrest Fabrications, really became such a huge part of the Moon Rover story.

I would come up with an idea, Ryan would help me figure out whether we could actually pull it off, and then somehow we would find a way to make it happen. He has been right there with me through every step of this crazy project.

And, of course, Bullet Bob was right in the middle of it too. My dad has helped with so much of this project — lending a hand, weighing in, and being part of the whole crazy process from the beginning.

Before long, we had even more people getting pulled into it.

Tanner, Cooper Cooper Sanden and Amaya Amaya Cook all got their hands on this truck at different points — taking things apart, fixing, painting, building and helping us figure things out as we went.

That may actually be one of my favorite parts of this whole story.

The Moon Rover started as an idea Megan and I had, but bringing her to life has taken a whole group of people willing to jump in, get dirty and help us make it happen.

By the end of this chapter, Glazed & Confused was gone.

What we had left was a very white, very empty, slightly questionable-looking truck.

But for the first time, we could see it.

The Moon Rover was on her way.

And this was only the beginning.
