The Victorian House is no longer known as the Victorian House. It has a new proprietor, The interior decorating theme has changed along with the menu choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I do not have the hours or days that they are open. Here the food is good along with a very clean setting. Stop in and check it out

Friday the Victorian House was vamping up for a Saturday evening opening. The wonderful aroma of food being cooked from scratch excited the taste buds of anyone who entered. Stop in and welcome the new tenants.

On February 15, 2013, the Victorian House will welcome new operators Steven Smith and Jean Kocher. Steven has 30 years culinary experience and is the perfect candidate to take the Victorian House to a sought out fine dining establishment. Since its inception in October of 2011. the Victorian House has been a labor of love. Our patrons response to its unique setting and surroundings has been the driving force behind all of our hard work. I will be supporting Steven and Jean as they strive to take it to a new level. Keep checking Facebook or the Web for the opening date in March along with the new interesting food and events.
It has indeed been a pleasure to meet so many interesting people. The memories of the past relayed to me from some of the old timers has stimulated my interest. I am looking forward to having time to research their memories and document the history of this beautiful house and its surroundings. Now as a guest of the Victorian House we will be meeting again.

Spent a quite day on Saturday at the Victorian House taking down some of the Christmas decorations. What a beautiful day. Removing the exterior holiday decorations allowed me time to appreciate the beauty of my surroundings. Creative thoughts of things yet to be done poured into my brain. Those thoughts gave way to wishing that I could go back in time and have a conversataion with its past tenants. How many of those who lived in this lovely house appreciated its beauty? What would they think of it today? During our down time in January and February my plan is to have time to explore the potential of many partons visiting and enjoying this lovely place and its history. Feeling upbeat driving down 32, passing the Westfield Play House, I saw John Sampson outside. John has visited the resturant several times and was defintely was someone that had been on my "must see list" . I drove down the road a distance and had one of those 'getter done" moments. I turned the car around and drove back to the Playhouse. John was very receptive to my visit and invited me in. We had a lovely conversation, once again I was inspired to figure out how to promote the beauty of the past in todays world. The Victorian House will be doing some promotions for and with the Westfield Play House. Keep checking to see what other exciting things will inspire my "getter done" to go into action.
