We are so excited to host Harvest of Hope at The Lighthouse on October 25! 🎃🧡

Before we tell you about all the fun, we want to give a huge shoutout to Lici with Happy Hands Sensory. She has worked her tail off bringing people together and organizing this event. We’re so thankful she chose The Lighthouse as the place to bring it all to life. She is making this an event you won’t want to miss! ❤️

Bring the kids for a free, family friendly fall festival with trunk-or-treat, a Halloween movie on the big screen, face painting, a glitter hair bar, balloon art, an inflatable, crafts, vendors, food trucks (JB’s Mac-N-Cheese & Spuds), Kona Ice, and a visit from the Shepherdsville Fire Department! Costumes are welcome, but you’re just as welcome without one. 👻

Yesterday was SO much fun at Taste of Bullitt County! 💜🧀🥔

We had the best time getting to introduce JB’s to so many people who told us they’ve been wanting to try us, and seeing everyone sample our mac and cheese absolutely made our day. The culinary students from the local high schools especially kept us smiling — y’all definitely showed our mac some love! 😂💜

We also handed out little positivity potatoes, and y’all… those things were a HIT. 😂❤️ We loved seeing people pick one out, read their little message, smile, and take it with them. Sometimes the smallest things can bring a little extra joy to someone’s day, and that made us happy.

A huge congratulations to all of yesterday’s winners! There were so many amazing local businesses represented, and we were just grateful to be a part of such a fun event celebrating Bullitt County.

And a BIG thank you to Amber Odle-City of Shepherdsville Community Planner and Troy King with Velvet Couch Hospitality for all the work that went into organizing and putting this event together. We know events like this don’t happen without a ton of behind-the-scenes effort, and we appreciate you both for giving local businesses an opportunity to come together, connect with the community, and showcase what we do.

We had a blast, met so many great people, and can’t wait to do it again! 💜

We totally forgot Brad has a doctor’s appointment on Monday 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 so we’ll be taking Monday off — but after that, it’s a BUSY week!
