Last week, a family reached out because they were celebrating their mom’s 90th birthday. They had rented a Model T to take her on a special ride around town and wanted one of their stops to be The Sweet Shoppe so we could surprise her with a treat they had purchased for her.

The only catch? They needed to come by around 1:30, before we opened. Of course, we were happy to make it happen.

Seeing her come down the street in that beautiful old car, waving with the biggest smile, absolutely warmed my heart. We handed her chocolate-covered marshmallows topped with birthday candles, and the joy on her face was priceless. Her family was beaming, and you could feel the love surrounding her.

It was such a beautiful moment and truly an honor to play a small part in such a special celebration. Thank you to this wonderful family for including us in your mom’s 90th birthday memories. We won’t forget it. 💕

A year ago, Kynslee was the very first person we interviewed when we started hiring, and we had no idea just how much of an impact she would make on our team.

Over the last year, she has been dependable, hardworking, creative, and an absolute joy to have at The Sweet Shoppe. From helping customers with a smile to jumping in wherever needed, she has truly become such an important part of our Sweet Shoppe family.
