Hey y’all!

We are looking for two very specific people to join our crew: a Prep Cook and a hybrid Prep/FOH register worker.

*Things we are looking for:
- Someone who either knows or wants to learn how to work in a commercial kitchen at a fast pace.

- Someone with a relatively open schedule who will be in town throughout the school year. (We will work around school schedules but expect applicants to still want at least 3-4 days of work during the semester)

- Someone who wants to work at least 25 hours a week

- Someone with great work ethic who is good at being a team player.

Hey Yall,

We have finally had to bite the credit card “bullet” like most of the other business on German Street.

We were one of the few “hold out” businesses not charging a percentage based processing fee to use credit cards but the time has come that we have to wave a white flag and give in.

Between insane inflation due to fuel prices effecting cost of goods and credit card processing becoming so extreme in cost because of rewards credit cards and “security” charges on “Tap To Pay“, We had a hard choice: Raise Prices across the board OR Attempt to offer an option for our customers to keep their cost down by using cash.

We’ve chosen the latter for now as We recognize that times are hard on everyone right now. We understand that credit cards and “Tap to Pay” are convenient but the monthly fees associated with them are costing us more than our rent!!

Like Many of the businesses already surrounding us, we will now have a 4% charge to use electronic payments. We could try to word this as a “4% Discount for using Cash” but that just doesn’t feel honest or transparent.

If things change or electronic payment legislation changes on a Federal level, we may readdress the issue but for now, it’s our only option other than raising prices across the board or not accepting Credit Cards at all.

Long story short…. We are sorry… but We have tried to leave you an option to save yourself some money by using cash.

P.S. The silver lining is that very soon we may be offering online ordering as we’ve avoided it in the past because it’s all credit card based sales.
