🌟 A Fond Farewell to Poppy's Coffee Camper 🌟
Dear Friends and Cherished Customers,
It is with a mixture of nostalgia and anticipation for our future that we announce the closing of Poppy's Coffee Camper.
Life has shifted in wonderful ways since we first opened and served from our $3.00 windows (found at our local building thrift store), and now it's time for an unchartered course of exploration.
Many of you may know that this camper holds a special place in our family’s ❤️ as it was Amber’s from childhood, a vintage treasure that has served up more than just coffee and Poppycakes; it has created memories and connections within our community.
As we close this chapter, we are delighted to share that we will be converting our 1979 Layton Love for personal use — to follow our boys, wherever their paths may lead us, around this beautiful countryside.
Thank you for your support and for the countless smiles shared over a “Bonfire🔥 by the River” — whether it be at our Soft Opening for Friends and Family in our front yard, a Meet and Greet at Newport COB, Holiday Events or Farmers Market in our beloved town of Shenandoah, honoring Veterans at Merck, an Olde Time Christmas in Elkton, a Scholastic Bowl tournament at Page, PYFL Football Celebrations, or our final hoorah at the Trout Derby on the Hawksbill Greenway in Luray last weekend.
While we will miss serving you, we look forward to new adventures that await. In closing, we would be remiss without saying that though they have ventured to other regions of this beautiful countryside — none of this would have ever been possible without the Labor of Love given by One Dillon Davis and the Unconditional Faith in our Services by Lora Jenkins with the Town of Shenandoah!
Here’s to new beginnings and the memories we’ve made together! As such, in a Spirit of “See Ya Later” versus “Goodbye,” to all that we have loved and so graciously loved us in return — if you have the time, please enjoy our original video of the transformation of Poppy’s (with sound) — reawakened after a few years of slumber in the Painter’s Woods of Stanley to our present home along the banks of the Shenandoah, as well as a few of our cherished times serving up java love in between.
We will be leaving Poppy’s page up for a few days in the case anyone would like to share memories or blessings. However, if and when you are in need of a coffee or sweet fix, PLEASE do yourself a favor and follow Shenandoah Valley Reserve. I PROMISE that you will THANK ME later as I, alone, scarfed down four of their artisanal minis for breakfast earlier this week!!!
Remember — All You Need is
✌️❤️& ☕️ Amber & Shane
