Oysterfest weekend is on, Shelton — and the smart move is breakfast downtown first.
OysterFunk is tonight at the Port of Shelton with Stir Crazy, 6–10 p.m. Then OysterFest takes over Sanderson Field all weekend: oyster shucking championships, 40+ vendors, Saturday 10–6 and Sunday 10–5.
Before you head up the hill, come fill up downtown at Nita’s. We are open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days at 325 W Railroad Ave — Shelton’s oldest restaurant, about five minutes from the fest.
Big Guy burritos. Hot breakfast plates. French toast worth the trip. Coffee on and ready.
Come hungry. Leave full. Then go shuck something.
See y’all downtown.
