🎉 East Barrio Night – Celebrate Culture, Community & Independence! 🇲🇽
Join us in Downtown Shelton for East Barrio Night, a vibrant evening filled with culture, music, food, and community as we celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day!

From 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, East Railroad will come alive with local vendors, delicious food, live music, and a DJ spinning great tunes throughout the evening. This collaborative event, hosted by the businesses along East Railroad, is a chance to honor Hispanic culture while bringing friends, families, and neighbors together for a memorable night.

Come explore unique vendors, enjoy amazing flavors, dance to lively music, and experience the energy and traditions that make this celebration so special. Whether you’re stopping by for the food, the entertainment, or simply to connect with the community, there’s something for everyone.

Movies in the park! 🍿 🎥

Shelton Parks & Recreation proudly presents this year's Movies in the Park series! On Friday nights from July 10 through August 14, enjoy a free, family-friendly movie at Kneeland Park.

Movies start between 9:00 and 9:15 p.m. There is no price for admission.

Here is this year's movie schedule:
July 10 - Inside Out
July 17 - How to Train Your Dragon 2
July 24 - Monsters University
July 31 - Grown Ups (Teen Night)
August 7 - Despicable Me 4
August 14 - Coco
