“MATTO” is the Italian translation for the word Crazy. It means all of those to us. Matto is a collaboration of industry professionals and renown Chef’s mixed with Nonna’s old school recipes. Our formula is simple…Bring the finest Italian style eatery & wine bar to Shelton! The vibe at Matto will be upscale-casual, with an urban Italian décor highlighted with exposed brick, wood & steel. The huge bar area overlooks an open kitchen for you to enjoy the action. The main dining area and outdoor “Terrazza” provide a slight respite from the lounge, offering guests a different atmosphere to enjoy the diverse menu.
