Had an amazing shopping trip this evening at the massive kids' sale in Springfield. These kids are going to be extremely excited when they get to play with all these different toys.

Got some super adorable costumes with accessories for the fire station as well as some great fire trucks to play with.

The barn is fully stocked between a few items I bought this evening, as well as the toys the person who sponsored our barn bought that are getting shipped to us. Exciting!

The vet got a few great animal carriers and some additional medical play equipment.

The restaurants and market are starting to get full!

The baby zone is almost overflowing. Will need to do some rotation stations in there.

The ride-on zone... well, we have ride-ons ranging from caterpillars, bouncy dogs, and bumblebees, to cozy coupes and Radio Flyers.

Added another big climber today, which will be a great addition. Another activity table to sit at. And some great hair chairs for the cafe space.

The sensory zone has many busy wall boards now as well as rotation stations.

Still looking for some art room material. We could use crayons, colored pencils, paper, chalk, dry-erase markers, paints, and craft supplies.

Okay everyone, after three hours of straight sweating and pulling things out and 6 hours of totally doing this..... I have realized which toys we are still lacking. So, if anyone is still trying to find a way to donate, this is where we could still use help!

Barn: play eggs, stuffed animals, or play animals (farm animals: especially chickens, cows, pigs, horses, etc.), small barn figurines for the play barn I have, and a ride-on or even just a sit-on tractor that doesn't move. We have two sit-and-rock horses already.

Fire station: any dress-up fire or police gear, or any play fire station accessories you can think of!

Restaurant area/market: PLAY FOOD and lots of it. If you don't have any kids' play food, I would also love your plastic containers (washed and dried); examples include empty condiment bottles, small drink bottles, and household item containers.

Construction: play tools and toy work trucks.

Girl dress-up/doll/baby zone: any dress-up items, baby dolls and baby accessories, and also Barbies and accessories for the giant Barbie house.

Sensory area: any sensory toys.

Baby zone: any soft play toys, such as sit-on soft play. See photos.

ART! We still need lots of art supplies: crayons, chalk, colored pencils, paper, etc.

I do have a lot of stuff, but in some areas, I feel like it's not very much. I am going to a huge kids' sale this upcoming Wednesday to finish my haul, so if you want to clean out those kids' playrooms, I would love it; I am happy to accept donations to buy items as well!

Does anybody have any moving boxes I can get my hands on before I go buy multiple totes? I am trying to sort and organize these toys into zones, and it would be so much easier to have multiple medium or large moving boxes so that I can store them inside, take them directly to their designated zone, and decorate!

Good morning everyone! I did not get a chance to post yesterday between multiple doctor appointments and grocery shopping, but let’s get back at it.

Today I want to give a shout-out to the many people who have donated toys along this path. My garage is stacking up and I am loving it! These kids are going to be so excited with the different things they get to play with and use.

I do have a few people still wanting to claim certain zones for sponsorship, but we still have many left if anyone would like to get their name, an "in memory of," or their business logo on a sign in a zone! Reach out to me to find out what is still available.

I am also getting ready to go to the huge kids' sale in Springfield next week, so if you do not want a specific zone but still want to help out in some way and would like to donate money to buy additional toys that are still needed from there, please let me know; I would be extremely grateful!

Final update for this morning: plumbing has been working there this week, so we are even closer with that area and then can finish off the bathrooms and cafe space! For the rest of the building, construction is at the point where we are essentially ready to paint and do flooring! Almost there! Im pretty positive we will be just fine for opening day OCTOBER 10TH!

I had a wonderful lady reach out to me so she could dedicate it in honor of her late father, Louie. He went by the nickname Bouie to his grandchildren. She was the 7th generation on a family farm in Carlinville, IL. Thank you for allowing us to dedicate this barn to him!

When you look around and every inch is a construction zone 😳, the good thing is that means we are much closer to being finished. We have lighting finished. Construction and electrical are getting much closer! Masonry is in this week, opening up the bathroom walls, and then plumbing should be next week for the cafe! Eventually, the front windows and doors will also be changed, yay! My husband and brother-in-law are working extremely hard to make this come along ASAP, and they are doing an amazing job!

I have continued to be in contact with my sources of food and drinks. We have some yummy items lined up for you all! Look forward to some amazing fall-themed items when we open!

We have the website going, and tomorrow it should be able to start accepting payments and officially scheduling those play dates and birthday parties!

Also I need a playhouse slide if anyone has one to part with. I had one, but unfortunately it was too brittle already so my husband deemed it unsafe. So before buying brand new looking for one thats almost new or in reallt good condition and not already cracking!
