Boba Cafe We began with the desire to have a space for creativity and connection with others. From there, the Boba Cafe: Bubble Tea + Creative MakerSpace was born.
(2)

Our vision is to create a place where people can come to connect, create and share! There are two main aspects to our store: Bubble Tea and a Space for Creativity and Crafting. Our store will be using syrups that are either house-made, or contain only all-natural ingredients, and we use only fresh dairy and dairy-free options for our milk teas. The Crafting MakerSpace is a space where anyone can find relational connection, can strengthen their creativity, and can refine their crafting skills! Everyone has been impacted by the pandemic in some way, and over 40% of people currently suffer from the negative emotional and mental effects of social isolation, stress, and anxiety/depression. Creativity can provide healing and connection, and the Crafting MakerSpace strives to be a place that uses creative functioning to support rejuvenation of your mind, body, and soul.

Our special friend Caitlyn stopped in today to see us and we were able to give her the cards of encouragement and donations that have been collected the last few days..She leaves early Tuesday morning for her Make A Wish Trip. She wanted to thank everyone who stopped in with cards of encouragement and donations so that she, her grandma and mom can do a few things extra on their trip..I told her I wish we could have done more and she said “even if I had all the money in the world, I’d rather have my family with me over money so I could take this trip”❤️. Thank you so much to everyone that came together for this little girl. When she was leaving, she said “I wish everyone in this world was nice like you and your friends that helped me”. I told her “me too kiddo”. Thanks again folks. You’re awesome in my book. Jeremy and Ashley.

Just a reminder. Saturday is the last day we’re accepting cards of encouragement, gift cards to anywhere or monetary donations for our friend Caitlyn who’s heading out Tuesday for her Make A Wish Trip. Just trying to give a little extra for them so they can do extra things that aren’t covered..Thank you to those who have donated already ❤️. (Story Below).

Hello friends. Kind of a long post. Hug your kiddos a little tighter tonight❤️. This is our friend and awesome customer Caitlyn. She’s 15 and early in her life at 2 1/2 yrs old, she was diagnosed with AVM (arteriovenous malformation) As she’s gotten older, her health has declined.. She’s had radiation treatments that caused her seizures to worsen..Her condition is inoperable. The older she gets, her health will continue to decline..She came in to the shop on Saturday to see us and to let us know she’s going to Myrtle Beach by air next Tuesday the 6th and is so excited.. she has become a recipient of the Make A Wish Foundation which is amazing. They will pay for a majority of things, but I asked mom and grandma if there’s anything we can do to help suggesting gift cards, monetary donations, or simply just cards with encouragement. They said anything would help. So my ask is, if you’d like to drop a card of encouragement off, a dollar or two sitting around, a gift card to anywhere, or just a prayer for her to heal and for her while she’s on her journey..I know they’d appreciate it..Thank you so much. Jeremy and Ashley.

We’ve kinda put this idea on the back burner, but we’re trying to check and see who would want a steamed blueberry bagel from New York smeared with cream cheese and topped with cinnamon and sugar? 😎. We guinea pigged some business owners downtown and they said do it right away..If we started doing this at 10am for a mid morning snack, would it be successful? Give us your thoughts please. 😁. And as always, thank you for supporting us and all the small downtown family owned businesses❤️. Jeremy and Ashely.
