Funny how the best things don’t always come out perfect…

A couple months ago, I was in a rush and didn’t scramble the eggs the “right” way. They came out a little white, a little yellow… not your typical scramble. I thought I messed up bad.

Later that day, I get a call from some of our regulars. I’m thinking, “Oh man… here it comes.” 😅

But instead, they asked, “Who made those eggs?”

I walked out a little nervous, and they said, “What do you call those? That’s how my mama used to make them.”

I told them, “Those are country scrambled.”

Turns out, after all these years, they finally had a name for something that brought them right back home. ❤️

Now every time they come in, they order their eggs country scrambled.

That’s what Carolina Blue Kitchen is all about — not just food, but memories, comfort, and a taste of home.
