I think next spring will be business as usual. The truck is put away for this year but next year will be out early and ready to go. I'm going to be available for school events, large parties, or any type of larger social Gathering. I kind of moved on, so the smaller parties I probably will not be accepting. Contacted the Health Dept today,(6/1/2020). I was told they do not anticipate any changes to the 10 person limit, which means no campground pavilions, dances, birthday parties, etc, without many too many restrictions to list..This could last for 18 months, or at least till covid ends or vaccine is found.
My truck is self serve, so that finishes my summer right there. I have too many flavors to pour from inside the truck to do the volume it takes to keep up with normal crowd. That's if there is a crowd!
Im sorry to say unless something changes, i'm not going to get the snowie truck inspected this year. Between insurances, supplies, and operational expenses, start up is around $2-3 thousand dollars. Definitely not worth the expense to maybe do a couple events if lucky this season..

As of today, I cant tell you if there's going to be a season this summer for my shaved ice business. Neither you or I want to be, or allowed to be, in any large crowds till who knows when. I am taking reservations, but they are strictly on a wait and see basis. No deposits will be taken, so nothing has to be refunded if canceled.
The truck will be ready for summer, but as of today, can not be licensed by the health dept for this season.
So call me, and schedule your events if you'd like, and we'll see where this summers season leads us..
Please follow the laws of today, and hopefully that will end this pandemic in its tracks..Stay safe.. Dave

Should be another hot Saturday night at the Loudonville River Run Campground tonight! Will be at the Pavilion from 6:30 to 11 serving lemonade, 31 Flavors of shaved ice, and our new ice cream products. Stop by and beat the summer heat!

Looks like it's going to be a hot night at the Loudonville River Run Campground tonight! Flooding is gone, heat is on! The shaved ice and lemonade truck will be there from 7:00 to 11 tonight and Saturday night.

DJ dance at River Run Campground has been canceled for this Saturday night because of continued flooding.. At this point dances are still scheduled at the Pavilion the evenings of July 5th and 6th... We'll see in a week if Mother Nature is cooperative or not:-(
