It’s fun to see the OG Siblings of Anarchy scooping together at the Essex Pride Festival. They have tolerated their insane parents who decided to start a farm and ice cream company when they were ages 9, 7 and 5. It would be impossible to love them more than we do and we couldn’t be prouder (prideful of them!).

Berry Jeanette 🫐🥥🌶️— our newest limited edition specialty ice cream!

Together with Nuravni S. from .suriname , we created a creamy, coconutty, fruity sherbet with a spicy kick. The secret ingredient? Madame Jeanette Pepper Powder from Suriname 🔥

InSeasons is an artisanal, agro-processing start-up creating unique powders, spices, and value-added products while working closely with small-scale farmers in Suriname.

Nuravni is currently in the U.S., with Sisters of Anarchy Ice Cream, through the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative , where we’ve been exchanging ideas and building a collaboration that creates opportunities for both our businesses in a sustainable way.

Over the past weeks, we worked together on market research, new product development (Berry Jeanette 👀), and product process mapping; combining flavors, cultures, and entrepreneurship into one scoop!

This Mother’s Day we want to take a moment to pay tribute to our amazing mothers. Both women poured tremendous energy and love into their families. They were born in 1929 (Peggy, Farmer Bob’s mom) and 1937 (Linda, Mother of Anarchy’s mom). In both cases, they were exceptional students with high aspirations. Peggy was Valedictorian of her high school and nursing college. She went on to become top surgical nurse. Linda graduated from college and worked in a research lab doing early DNA research.

At the time they started having children, it was assumed that women would focus on raising their children and managing the household. While we were the beneficiaries of their love, smarts and energy, we often think what they could have done as women and mothers if they had been born a mere few decades later.

Moms still make many sacrifices and we are eternally grateful to our moms for the sacrifices they made for us.

Join the Sisters for a Mother’s Day Open House this Sunday, 5/10 from 10 am-7 pm. We’ll have a card-making station, fresh blueberry muffins, coffee and the poor man’s affogato, hot sliced fruit pie à la mode, and BOGO single serve cones for moms who show up with a family member or friend!

You can let mom whoop up in corn hole and tetherball and spend time on the playground so that mom can rest. Of course, we’ll have fruit pies, pints and many other delicious fa products for sale.

We can’t wait to celebrate all of the moms out there!

Peeps, we got a little window into summer time over the weekend with nearly 70 degree temps and sun on Saturday! Do we care that it then snowed on Sunday? No. Why? Because it looks as though most of the cold day time temps are in the rear view mirror.

We are ready for scooping season. For the rest of April, we’re open Wednesday-Sunday from noon-6 pm and then we’ll expand our hours in May and will be open everyday of the week!
