Today, our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to a dear friend, Larry.

Since 2015, when we first opened our doors, Larry has been there. Through all the years, all the changes, and all the ups and downs, he remained one of our most loyal customers. He never switched restaurants and continued to support us from day one. That kind of loyalty is something you don’t forget.

Larry wasn’t just a customer—he became a friend and part of our family. We all knew his favorite table, and seeing him sitting there became a part of our daily routine. It won’t be the same walking by and not seeing him there.

Larry always came in the kitchen while I was working to say hello and tell me one of his favorite saying:

“Work doesn’t bother me, I can sit and watch it all day.”

He always said it with a smile and a laugh, and it never got old.

Larry, thank you for your friendship, your loyalty, and the countless memories you’ve given us over the years. Your chair may be empty, but your memory will forever have a place in our hearts and in this restaurant.

Rest easy, my friend. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten. ❤️

After hearing it for months, we’ve decided to make it official…

😂 Everyone already calls us “Milli’s” anyway! 😂

So instead of correcting people 100 times a day, we’re going with a fresh new name and a fresh new look!

🍳 Shelbina Family Restaurant is rebranding to FIRST BITE! 🥞

Don’t worry:
✅ Same owners
✅ Same friendly faces
✅ Same great food
✅ Same huge portions

The only thing changing is the name on the sign!

Whether you’ve called us Shelbina Family Restaurant, Milli’s, “that restaurant,” or “the place with the giant pancakes,” we’re excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to continue serving our amazing community.
