This Tuesday-Thursday at the VFW you can get yourself a 1/3-lb. Brockman’s pork tenderette on a City Bakery hard roll with our housemade chips and pickle spear for only $7.50! This special as well as other menu items will be served from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Our VFW is open to the public, so stop in and give us a try! 😋

No plans tonight? Then consider stopping in for a delicious fish fry, a $3.50 Old Fashioned and a scrumptious dessert made by the VFW Auxiliary! (They go fast. 😋) Tonight’s soups are creamy potato and ham as well as our signature clam chowder. Food can be ordered from 4-7 p.m.

While you’re here, fill out an application! We’re hiring bartenders, servers and platers.

And please consider taking along a registration form for our 9th Annual John Inovskis Golf Outing at Town & Country on Saturday, September 26th. (Proceeds from the outing go toward youth programs and scholarships.)

Another Friday means another fish fry! And yes…WE ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Stop in for some FRESH perch or sauger from Schwarz Fish or, if you prefer, try our haddock (baked or deep fried), blue gill or fantail shrimp. Not a seafood lover? We’ve got sandwiches too! I just found out that you ate all of the 1/3-lb. burgers we had in stock! This is a great thing, but tonight the pizza burger special will have to be downsized to a 1/4-lb. burger with housemade chips and a pickle spear for $1.00 less — $9.00 instead of $10.00!
