There are daily specials featuring appetizers, salad, pasta, fish and meat dishes. All of our bread and desserts are baked in-house daily.

We are an authentic Italian restaurant located in downtown Sheboygan, WI combining all natural and local ingredients with the finest Italian ingredients using classic, authentic recipes we learn from travelling through Italy. The wine list for Trattoria Stefano is comprised of only Italian wine hand picked by Stefano. We have a full bar carrying many different aperitif, digestivi, liquors, beers, dessert wines, and featured special wines by the glass.There are many unique cocktails to choose from and the Limoncello is made in house.

🍷 Two Wine Specials to end the busy weekend here at Trattoria!

•Meet 2020 Terre di San Leonardo, an elegant Bordeaux-style blend from the foothills of the Italian Dolomites. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carmenère come together with notes of ripe cherry, dark berries, herbs and subtle spice. Polished tannins and bright acidity make it beautifully balanced and exceptionally food-friendly. A sophisticated Italian red that delivers serious character without being heavy.

•And then we have our White, Discover Capranera Falanghina, a vibrant white from Campania in southern Italy. 🇮🇹 Made from 100% native Falanghina, it bursts with citrus, ripe pear and white flowers, finishing crisp with a beautiful touch of Mediterranean salinity. The striking black goat represents the Cilentana Nera, a native breed and symbol of the region’s agricultural heritage. Fresh, distinctive and incredibly food-friendly—perfect with seafood, fresh cheeses and lighter Italian dishes. 🍋🌊🍷

Meet Barrua 2021, a bold and beautiful red from the sun-soaked island of Sardinia. 🍷
Made primarily from Carignano, with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, it’s rich with dark cherry, plum, Mediterranean herbs, spice, and to***co.

Full-bodied and polished, with velvety tannins and a long, savory finish.

🍷 This is Ateo, made by Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona in Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy.

* Style: A dry, full-bodied Italian red
* Grapes: Depending on the vintage, it features Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot; newer vintages may focus primarily on Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

Tua Rita started in 1984 when Rita Tua and her husband Virgilio bought just a couple acres in Suvereto basically to live in the country and make wine. They eventually discovered that their land was extraordinary for Bordeaux varieties, especially Merlot. Their Redigaffi became the first Italian wine ever awarded 100 points by Robert Parker. Today Rita's grandson Giovanni is the third generation carrying the winery forward.

White• 🥂Pacher Hof Sylvaner 2024 – Alto Adige, Italy: A crisp, elegant 100% Sylvaner from the high-altitude vineyards of Italy’s Valle Isarco. Aromas of fresh-cut hay, white flowers and herbs lead into flavors of peach, green pear, citrus and hints of pineapple, with bright acidity, pronounced minerality and a clean, persistent finish.

Pacher Hof is a historic family estate whose roots date back to the 12th century. Today, winemaker Andreas Huber specializes in distinctive Alpine white wines, hand-harvesting grapes from mineral-rich mountain vineyards and focusing on freshness, fruit and a strong expression of terroir.

Red•🍷 Bruni “Marteto” Morellino di Scansano brings the warmth of Tuscany’s coastal Maremma straight to the glass. Made primarily from Sangiovese—known locally as Morellino—it bursts with ripe cherry, wild berries and blueberry, layered with hints of vanilla and spice. Family-run Azienda Bruni has been crafting wines in the Maremma for generations, and Marteto was their very first Morellino di Scansano. 🍷 2019 Garesio “Gavelli” Nizza DOCG

A beautiful expression of 100% Barbera from Piedmont. Nizza is both an appellation and a reference to Nizza Monferrato, a town in the province of Asti. Once part of Barbera d’Asti, Nizza earned its own DOCG and represents some of the region’s most serious Barbera.

Rich cherry, raspberry and blackberry meet spice, licorice, cocoa and subtle oak, all balanced by Barbera’s signature bright acidity.
