This one was a team effort.
My daughter decorated most of the top except the writing and I did the sides.
When I took this order it was just a normal phone call.
I was not going to do any more orders this week because I am trying to get ready for my daughter's grad party. But for some reason I took this one. I just said it would have to be simple. Well we know better. My creative mind is already rolling.
I asked what is the birthday girl's favorite flavor? Confetti with vanilla buttercream
What are her likes? Piano, trombone, bees and Winnie the pooh
And then I asked who the order was for. She says Shana.
And then I asked what name goes on the cake.
She says Ava
I thought to myself I'm pretty sure that is my daughter's friend. I ask, and yes it is my daughter's friend.
So of course when it's your daughter's friend and your daughter is an artist, you team up.
The Cleff lines, the Cleff note ,piano keys, bees as the music notes, the beehive because Winnie the Pooh loves honey, flowers and honeycombs along the edge. And if you look closely at the music line it says 18. I loved how this cake turned out.
