Delivery coming soon.
"Located on the corner of Highway 168 and Dorabella Road in beautiful Shaver Lake Ca. All of our pizzas are freshly made to order and topped with a generous amount of toppings. We offer a variety of pizza combinations and friendly service."
Delivery coming soon.
Hey everyone! We are still open; however, we are only allowing take-out orders at this time. We are also enforcing social distancing. We are very small with limited spacing, as you know, so we ask that no more than 5 people at a time. We’re encouraging call in orders and ask that you please figure out your order BEFORE coming in. We are trying to get everyone in and out as quickly and efficiently as possible. We’re also trying out a new system that will text you when your pizza is ready for pickup. We’re still in the process of training staff to use this feature.
We are expecting it to be busy this weekend but are working with minimal staff. We ask that everyone please be patient, we are doing the best we can under a lot of pressure. We’re receiving so many phone calls with questions that it’s getting really hard to keep up.
If this continues, we may work on looking into online ordering and if it goes into summer possibly delivery. There’s a lot of logistics that has to go into that, but we just wanted to let you know that we are still focused on giving everyone a great pizza and to keep you all updated.
- Shane, Megan & the SLP Crew
Hey everyone, we’re going to follow Fresno and Clovis and be limiting our orders to take out only for the time being. We will not be serving draft beer or limiting our menu. Phone in orders are encouraged!
Thank you all!
Hey everyone, just wanted to update with the following:
Effective immediately, we've shut down the arcade and will be removing the two smaller tables in the center of the dining room. We installed a hand sanitizing station a few months ago and our staff has been sanitizing and cleaning diligently. We are planning to remain open this weekend however, we are concerned it will be busy with the snow. We've made the decision to focus on takeout orders and trying to limit the amount of people in the dining room. We're not entirely sure how well this will work out. We've obviously never had to deal with something like this, but the health of our customers and staff are very important to us. Thank you for your patience and support!
Shane, Megan, & the SLP Crew
We will be shortening our hours on Monday & Tuesday beginning tomorrow to 12-6pm. Our dining room is still open and our staff is making sure all surfaces and tables are cleaned frequently.
If we have to we may switch to takeout only. We’re playing everything by ear on a day by day basis, so any major updates or changes along those lines will be posted here.
Wash your hands and stay safe.
Hey everyone. We get a lot of people asking for more vegan/vegetarian options. Right now we only have the Cauliflower pizza crust, but are looking to expand the menu a bit. Currently testing out two plant based options, a beef from Beyond Meats and vegetarian chicken nuggets.
Is this something that would be of interest to some of you? I’m looking to gauge interest/demand here as it’s not an area I’m too familiar with.
Let us know below along with any other suggestions you might have, and we will be sure to take a look at it.
UPDATE: We will be opening up at 4pm with a temporary menu. Hopefully everything should be back to normal tomorrow.
Our prep table decided it had enough and is no longer playing nice and refusing to hold temperature.
Currently closed as we work on repairing it.
No ETA currently
Update: Opening as usual at 11am.
Due to a major accident on 168 many of our staff are currently unable to make it in. As road is currently closed. We will open when we can.
Due to the overwhelming amount of orders we have been getting during the night this week. We will STOP taking phone orders at 6pm. I do apologize, but it seems everyone wants pizza at the same exact same time and is putting a huge weight on all of us to rush everything out and it’s having effect on our quality and customer service. I hope you understand.
Hey everyone. It seems we have drained our main suppliers inventory of dough. Our delivery this morning had most of our sizes out of stock. We are currently running to another supplier to pick some up. Opening a bit later today.
Apologies for any inconveniences. Very busy week for us.
Reminder of our holiday hours.
Christmas Eve (today): 11am-7pm
Christmas Day : 3pm-8ish
New Years Eve: 11am-9pm
New Years Day: 11am-9pm
Have a wonderful and safe Merry Christmas!
Hey everyone, small update. Every type of tomato is currently in huge demand right now with quality being hit or miss. Demand is exceeding supply and has caused huge jumps in pricing. We can’t justify this high cost and don’t think it’s fair to past onto the customer. So we will have to temporarily take them off our menu until the market is able to bounce back. Hopefully in the next few weeks.
Thanks for your understanding.
Not sure why I need to post this but, no we don’t have GrubHub, Postmates or Uber Eats in Shaver Lake.
Hi guys! We finally got some snow! Unfortunately, due to road conditions our order wasn’t able to make it up to us today. We’re going to have to close at 4 today. Our rep is telling us we should have our order in well before we open tomorrow morning. We’re so sorry for any inconveniences, I’d love to stay open. But I’m almost out of cheese!
Stay safe out there,
Megan, Shane, & the SLP crew
Hey everyone. Currently digging out the building. Open when we can. No ETA.
Hey everyone. Lots of snow dropping tonight and more possibly throughout the weekend. Talk about a great show opener to this season.
China Peak will be opening up this Friday, so we expect an increase in business. Please be patient, as wait times can fluctuate wildly throughout the weekend. As always check with Caltrans or CHP for current road conditions.
We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving!

Just wanted to give a quick update on what’s been going on this month and looking for some feedback.
Business: Sales have actually been pretty consistent over this past month with customers, lots of men and women working construction, road work, trees etc.. so if you’ve happen to been by during lunch apologies for the long waits! We can only fit so many calzones in the oven at once!
Appliances: As happens with almost any business, stuff breaks. Last few months haven’t been great to the checkbook. Oven motor blew out. One of our fridges decided it didn’t want to regulate temperature causing hundreds of dollars in lost goods. Swamp cooler died.. So we think (hope) that everything is fixed and will last another season.
Winter is coming: We have finally been able to get some new staff members in preparation for this upcoming season. More coming over the winter holidays. New people can be scary so we have been doing lots of training to make sure everything runs smoothly this year.
Feedback: Where can we we improve? I know majority of our customers don’t check our social media pages. Megan and I are more than happy to correct any mistakes and ensure you love your pizza. That’s the goal! So I’m looking to y’all on suggestions for improvement. What are we doing right? Where can we do better?
Constructive feedback HELPS US GREATLY.
As always thanks for your continued support!
UPDATE: We are back open for business. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Hey everyone we are temporarily closed. One of our refrigerators decided to die overnight. :(
Thanks for your understanding.
Beginning Monday Oct. 7th we will have new hours. These will be in effect until sometime around winter holidays.
Thanks for your continued support.
Hey everyone. We’re aware of complaints this week regarding the quality of our pizzas. We believe this is due to the cheese and the recent demand in the dairy market. Producing a much less consistent blend of cheese. We’re working with our main supplier to try and resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We have switched to using another supplier and will update everyone if anything else arrises.
Rest assured our dough and other toppings will continue to be the same and never change for as long as we own this place.
At Shaver Lake Pizza we value the importance of education, staying focused in school is very important to the success of a child’s future. We want to reward those who take the time and effort to focus on their education and get good grades. Student needs to be accompanied by an adult, 18 years or older
Must be a report card issued within the last 14 days
Dipping sauces are NOT included
Allowed one pizza per semester
Reminder, we are only open 11am-4pm on Monday’s and 4pm-8pm on Tuesday’s.
Hey guys! Our order came a little late today so we’re going to be opening at 12pm today!
Hey everyone here are our hours for the rest of the week. Sorry for the delay in posting.
Staring Monday the 12th we will have a new set of hours, as most of our staff is back in school. Please note on Monday and Tuesday we are only open half day.
Hey everyone. We had some people call out today and unfortunately we don’t have enough staff currently to cover it. Our hours today will be 12pm-6pm. This is really a bad look for us, I know, but our only solution. We will not take any call in orders past 530pm.
Beginning Monday August 5th we will have new hours. Most of our crew will be headed off to school and we want to ensure for those who are staying with us that they get some much needed time off.
We’ve been busier than ever this year and we unfortunately didn’t get many applications turned in for our summer season. Thus on most days we are working with all we have.
I do see all the feedback about having to close early last weekend. We vastly underestimated how many people would come in to eat during the brewfest and just couldn’t keep up with that amount of demand, causing us to run out of dough completely almost two hours before closing. Really not a great situation for us to be in and upsetting many hungry patrons and their families. Not our finest hour for sure, but things like that do happen and I hope we can learn from it.
We are very grateful to be in the position we are in and I wanted to be a bit transparent in this post as I know many of you have expressed your frustrations with our output as of late. It’s been a very stressful summer for all of us here, and I hope being a bit more open gives a better idea as to why that is.
If you have any questions or comments please feel free to message us on here or leave them down below.
⁃ Shane (General Manager)
The hot weather has brought up a lot of people to the mountains this weekend and as such we have been overwhelmingly busy. So unfortunately will be closing at 8pm tonight in order to at least make it through Sunday on what dough and cheese we have. Thanks.
Reminder: We will be open from 11am-8pm today.
Firework show is our busiest day of the year, so please bear with us as we will have long wait times throughout the day.
Phone also may be taken off the hook during our peak hours (4-6pm). We suggest if you'd like an order ready around that time then please call it in this afternoon.
We hope everyone has a fun and safe day on the mountain, and enjoy the show!
Hours for upcoming 4th of July holiday.
Sat: 11am-8pm (fireworks show)
Hey everyone, we are having our floors cleaned this morning and will be opening up a little later for lunch. Should be all ready by noon.
Hey everyone due to a power outage we are only able to run on a single oven this evening. Please be advised wait times could get long. Thank you for your patience.
Hey everyone we are still accepting applications for our summer crew. Looking for those with a great attitude and able to work in a team environment. We offer flexible hours, competitive pay, and room for promotion and benefits. Stop in or check out our website for an application form.
Help spread the word.
We will make the switch over to our summer hours beginning this Friday 6/7.
As always, wait times could be an hour or more on weekends.
Please call your order in advance if needed at a specific time, as our phone may be taken off the hook in order to catch up on current orders. We will try and post updates here if that occurs.
Hey everyone, due to it being much busier today than anticipated we will be closing a littler earlier tonight, at 7pm. This is to ensure we are able to open tomorrow for lunch as our delivery truck isn’t until mid afternoon.
Thanks for your understanding.
Light snow for the day. Chain requirement in effect. Stay safe out there.
Due to snow/rain on the 4-lanes CHP has closed it down until further notice, many of our staff are unable to make it up in current road conditions so unfortunately we will be closing a little earlier tonight. ~7pm
We are now accepting applications for our summer crew. Looking for those with a great attitude and able to work in a team environment. We offer flexible hours, competitive pay, and room for promotion and benefits. Stop in or check out our website for an application form.
We will be closed for lunch on May 2nd for scheduled maintenance. Will open for dinner at 4pm.
Gluten free crust is probably our most requested item. We have tried several kinds and haven’t been satisfied with the taste. Well, we’re happy to report that we’ve finally found the one. It is cauliflower based and 100% vegan/gluten free. However, we are still not a gluten free facility. We do not recommend for those with gluten sensitivities.
Our cauliflower dough is available only in the 12” medium size for an additional $3.25. We are still in our early stages of introducing this new option, so any recommendations will be gladly taken.
We will be open today from 11am-7pm.
It’s been real slow during weekdays. Our hours will be as follows unless we’re busy for lunch.
We will not be opening today as most of our staff is unable to make it up the hill, due to 168 being closed. We appreciate everyone's patience over the past week, as we have gotten a lot more snow than usual in such little amount of time. Bringing lots of problems with it. We should be able to open tomorrow, but depending on road conditions and having to shovel the building out, that could change.
