🌿 A little break to recharge. ❤️

Running a small family restaurant takes a lot of heart, and none of it would be possible without this incredible team(some of them cant make it to this photo) They work hard every single day to bring homemade Thai food and warm hospitality to our community.

To give our amazing staff a well-deserved summer break, Boon Choo Thai Kitchen will be CLOSED from June 30 – July 6.

✨ We will reopen on Tuesday, July 7. refreshed, recharged, and ready to cook all your favorite Thai dishes with happy hearts and great energy.

Thank you for always supporting our small business and taking care of us the way you do. We can’t wait to welcome you back!

A day with me in my garden 🌿☔ Rain can’t stop me.

Today on my day off, I’m repotting this special kaffir lime tree.

This tree is 12 years old and has been part of my cooking journey for years. Its leaves have flavored dishes for my guests from the days of cooking at home, to Yai’s Food Truck, and now at Boon Choo Thai Kitchen.

As a Thai chef, this tree is more than a plant—it carries memories, traditions, and the flavors of home. Watching it grow over the years feels a lot like my own journey: from a home kitchen, to a food truck, to owning a restaurant.

A bigger pot, fresh soil, and more room to grow. 🌱

Just like this tree, I’m still growing too—one leaf, one dish, and one dream at a time. Thank you for being part of the journey. 💚🌿
