After an awesome morning at Hurlburt, we will be open tonight at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Fort Walton Beach for their trivia night! 5:30 to 8:30 PM. See you there!

✈️ More than 100 cats and kittens from SOCKS shelter will be flown to Maryland on Aug. 6 for a better chance at adoption.

The cats will make their aerial journey from Destin Executive Airport via Dog Is My CoPilot, Inc., which has transported tens of thousands of animals from overcrowded shelters since 2012.

🐈 The life-saving flight will help relieve overcrowding at SOCKS, creating much-needed space for more homeless animals. Upon arrival, the animals will receive continued care before becoming available for adoption.

🧹🪣🧽In addition to supplies (wish list link in comments), our staff need HELP as we prep over 100 kittens and cats for this flight! We need people to help clean and do laundry. You can even pick up laundry, wash it at your home, and return it!

Hey Rhody Nation! We will not be open tomorrow 7/21 as we are dealing with a current generator repair issue and we are also keeping an eye on the possible incoming tropical storm. We will be posting accordingly to keep everyone updated on our weekly schedule and status of us getting our generator back in order so make sure to give us a follow if you haven’t yet! We would also like to take a moment to thank everyone for your patience and continued patronage, we appreciate each and every one of you!
