I killed my sourdough starter 😳

Not the first time. I just get so busy and let it rest in the fridge a little longer than I’m comfortable with. My starter is solid and perfoms beautifully. I never want to lose this to my crazy busy schedule, which is why i started dehydrating it. This week I decided to get back at it. 3 days of rehydrating and she’s going nuts already. I woke up to a beautiful mess that had me laughing this morning.

Might as well get to baking since we’re snowed in today. Sourdough crackers are one of my favorites!!

I have this same dehydrated starter available in kit with a jar, spatula, instructions and a few of my favorite recipes (bread, crackers, pizza dough & chocolate chip cookies) at all 3 of our locations.
