Washington Township Council member Peter Del Borello was kind enough to invite me to a council meeting to talk about the business and such. I was given an entrepreneurial award and I couldn’t be more thankful. We met when he came in for lunch and thought it was super cool that I am roasting my own coffee. Of course this wouldn’t be possible without my dad inspiration and him letting me come in on mondays and use whatever I need to produce my coffee. Without him I would have to roast in cold winters and lantern fly-infested summers so thank you

While only roasting coffee for 6 months, I’ve been constantly learning and adjusting. I finally think I found a hot chocolate mix recipe that I love and can be proud of, and I still tweak things with my coffee blend. After finishing this batch of coffee I will be changing the house blend to a more smooth, vibrant ratio that will still present the strong, robust flavor of Italian style coffee, but have a smooth finish. This won’t be for a little while as I still have quite a good amount of the current blend to get through. Either way whatever my ratio or recipe is, I do not serve a coffee if it is not up to par with my standards. Thanks for coming along on this journey with me!
