🎉 Cheers to SIX YEARS! 🎉

Story time, y’all!

Six years ago today, during a world of chaos, blossomed an idea; to feed our little town of Seward, Alaska and provide a place for our visitors and residents alike to get a delicious meal before going onto whatever adventures l have planned for that day. That idea became a reality when The Porthole opened and now has grown into a beautifully elaborate and delectable catering option, a second truck, and a convenient (and tasty!) cafe in our home town’s Sea Life Center offering its own unique menu.

Who is the magical being behind all of this you ask? Meet Faith Alderman! Faith deserves all of the praise for her accomplishments; and for creating such an iconic brand and keystone for the community. She created not only a food truck to feed our Seward friends and visitors, but created jobs and opportunities for others to succeed in our quaint little town. Not only has she accomplished all this in only six years, but also has expanded her business knowledge and opened Meandering Mediums with her life partner, Andrew.

Let’s all give some love to her in the comments (or when we see her out in the wild) for everything she has done for our community. We love you and are proud of you, Faith!
