𝗨𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀!
1. Brisket will exit as a daily menu item and enter our Limited Run rotation where we'll feature different options on a weekly basis. In addition to brisket, we'll be rotating Carne Asada, Smoked Turkey, Coastal Comfort Bayou Chili, Babyback Ribs, Smoked Wings, and Creamy Mac 'n Cheese.
2. Our Hang Ten Hawaiian Chicken will join Tamed Caribbean Chicken and Carolina Pulled Pork as a permanent menu item. Brushed with a simmered glaze we craft with ten simple ingredients, you'll love the delicious Hawaiian vibe it brings.
3. We've added a Mix 'n Match Combo where you can get your choice of two meats on Pineapple Rice or slider buns, choice of side, choice of bagged chips, toppers, and sauce for only $14.
4. We've added a Big Kahuna Platter that includes THREE meat choices on Pineapple Rice or slider buns, choice of TWO sides, choice of bagged chips, toppers, and sauces for only $20. Great for sharing, hoarding, or storing. :)
5. Our craft sauces will be available for purchase in flask-style plastic bottles. Made fresh in small batches, you can now bring our flavors home with you. Note that our special Beachside Wing Sauce will only be available on evenings when we offer smoked wings.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁?
I'm not totally breaking up with brisket...let's just say we have a complicated relationship.
First, beef prices keep shooting upwards. In fact, costs are up more than 25% since we opened.
Second, because our other items are more popular, brisket is the least ordered protein, resulting in considerable daily waste.
Third, after crunchin' all the numbers, we lost money on every weekday brisket and just about broke even on every weekend brisket.
People love our brisket, that isn't the issue, we're just a lil' corner BBQ place and the numbers aren't yet there to justify 14 hours of late night babysitting for a negative return. :)
As such, we will still *occasionally* offer brisket, typically on a weekend, so keep watch. Along with our other Limited Run rotations, you can expect a variety each and every week.
If you do want to indulge in outstanding brisket, you can hit the Perfect Pair in Seneca Falls (shout out to their amazing crab cakes as well), Smokin' Petes outside Geneva, Up in Smoke BBQ in Waterloo during their occasional pop-ups, or Bearded Bear BBQ & Catering in Union Springs. You'll walk away plenty happy.

𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀?
Yes and no. Which in all fairness, probably means no. :) Riptide BBQ is a side quest for me...a beloved hobby that I hope evolves into something more.
With a full-time position that I love and a family that I love even more, I need to make sure that Riptide weaves through my life as seamlessly as possible.
Thanks to amazing team members, we *will* be able to open more often, but there will still be weekends when I have to close due to family obligations or the collegiate and athletic demands of our daughter.
I will always post here on Facebook, on our website, and share with everyone who signed up for email updates, so I encourage you to keep watch for upcoming dates, hours, and events.
