Shrimp Etouffee.

Shrimp Étouffée (pronounced ay-too-fay) is a classic Cajun-Creole dish that comes from Louisiana, especially the southern bayou and New Orleans region. The word étouffée means “smothered” in French, which perfectly describes how tender shrimp are gently cooked in a rich, savory sauce made with a slow-cooked roux, onions, peppers, and spices, then served with fluffy rice.

We add our home made bread to it.
